Roadside Assistance for Ole Miss Students & Campus
Left your car in a dorm lot all week and now it won't start? Running on fumes heading home for break? We help Ole Miss students all over campus and the neighborhoods around it — without the wait of a big national dispatch service that doesn't know Oxford.
Dead battery after sitting all week
This is the single most common call we get from students. A car that sits parked in a dorm lot or student housing spot for days at a time slowly drains its battery, especially if it's already a couple years old. We'll jump you right where you're parked and let you know honestly if the battery itself needs replacing soon.
Battery Jump Start DetailsOut of gas heading home
Whether you're leaving for a weekend or heading home for break, it's easy to misjudge how much gas you've got left. If you run dry on your way out of Oxford, we'll bring enough fuel to get you to the nearest station.
Gas & Fuel Delivery DetailsHome games mean heavier traffic around campus
On Ole Miss home game days, the roads around Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and the Grove get crowded fast, and that slows everyone down — including us. If you're dealing with a dead battery or an empty tank on a game day, call as early as possible and give us a specific lot, deck, or landmark. We'll get to you as fast as the traffic allows and keep you updated. Read more on our blog:game day breakdowns — parking, traffic, and getting help in Oxford.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need a parking permit or pass to reach me on campus?
No — we don't need a permit to come help you. Just tell us which lot or deck you're in and a nearby landmark so we can find you quickly.
Can you get to me during a home football game?
We'll do our best, but game days mean heavy foot and car traffic around campus and the Grove, so response times run longer than a normal weekday. Call as early as you can and give us a specific location — the sooner we know, the better we can plan around road closures.
My car sat all week and won't start now — is that normal?
Very common. Batteries slowly lose charge even when a car isn't being driven, and older batteries lose it faster. If this keeps happening every time you leave town, your battery is probably close to needing replacement — we'll let you know what we see when we jump it.
Do you cover dorm parking lots and student housing off campus?
Yes, both. Campus dorm lots and off-campus student housing around Molly Barr Rd and Old Taylor Rd are regular calls for us.
